펀드는 인천경제청이 인천테크노파크를 통해 출자하고 민간 벤처캐피탈이 업무집행조합원으로 참여하는 공공-민간 협력형 펀드입니다.
IFEZ관계자는 “지역 벤처‧창업 생태계가 자생적으로 성장할 수 있도록 투자 기반을 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔습니다.
Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority boosts funding through Startup Park Fund
The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority (IFEZ) announced that it has officially begun investment activities by forming the “Incheon Startup Park Fund No. 1,” valued at 3 billion at the end of last year, and injecting capital into two startups.
This fund is a public-private partnership, where IFEZ invests through Incheon Technopark, and a private venture capital firm participates as a general partner.
An IFEZ official stated, “We will continue to expand investment support to help the local venture and startup ecosystem grow independently.”

센터는 디지털 기반의 무역 환경에서 지역 기업들이 원활하게 수출에 진입할 수 있도록 지원하는 거점으로, 국정과제인 ‘디지털 기반 무역·수출 인프라 확충’의 일환으로 구축됩니다.
디지털 콘텐츠 제작을 위한 촬영 장비와 스튜디오를 갖추고, 출장 촬영 서비스도 제공해 소재·부품·장비 기업까지 폭넓게 지원할 예정입니다.
IFEZ to launch ‘deXter’ center to support global expansion of SMEs
Ifez announced that it will open a comprehensive digital trade support center named ‘deXter’ this coming September on the first floor of Michuhol Tower in Songdo.
The center will serve as a hub to help local SMEs and startups enter export markets in today’s digital-based trade environment. It is being established as part of a national policy project aimed at expanding digital trade infrastructure.
The facility will be equipped with filming equipment and studios for digital content production, and will offer on-site shooting services to support a wide range of businesses, including those in materials, components, and equipment sectors.

Incheon receives RoboCup 2026 flag at closing ceremony in Brazil
On July 20, the City of Incheon officially received the RoboCup flag at the closing ceremony of RoboCup 2025, held in Salvador, Brazil, marking the beginning of preparations for “RoboCup 2026 Incheon.”
RoboCup 2026 will be held in July 2026 in the Songdo Convensia area and is expected to attract over 3,000 participants from more than 50 countries, along with tens of thousands of visitors.
The event is anticipated to be a major stepping stone for Incheon to position itself as a leading smart robot city in Asia.

The event was hosted by the Korean Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and organized by the Namdong-gu Mental Health Welfare Center and Suicide Prevention Center.
As concerns grow over children using too much media in the digital age, the lecture used real-life examples to explain in a simple and fun way how to understand children in digital environments and how to raise them with proper approaches.

이 쉼터는 3개월여 만에 꽃들이 활짝 피었으며, 부지 중앙에는 어리연꽃과 부레옥잠이 떠 있는 연못이 조성되었고, 벤치와 그늘 쉼터도 설치되며 방문객이 휴식을 즐기는 공간, 철새들도 날아드는 도심 속 휴식처로 탈바꿈했습니다.

Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, has turned an empty lot next to its 2nd government building into a green rest area called ‘Bench by the Pond’ for residents.
This rest area project started after a satisfaction survey conducted in February to mark 100 days since the 2nd building opened, which showed the need for more convenience facilities and improvement of the empty lot.
Now, after just over three months, flowers are in full bloom, and a pond with yellow water lilies and water hyacinths has been created in the center. Benches and shaded areas have also been set up, turning the place into a peaceful rest area in the city that even attracts migratory birds.
