Incheon City Recruiting 1,000 Participants for the ‘Incheon 9 Scenic Spots DIY Experience Program’
Incheon Metropolitan City and Incheon Tourism Organization announced that they are recruiting participants for the “Incheon 9 Scenic Spots DIY Experience Program,” which allows people to enjoy Incheon’s top tourist attractions in their own way.
Participants can plan their own travel schedule and complete missions. A portion of the experience costs will be reimbursed.

인천시검단선사박물관은 다음 달 1~12일까지 여름방학 교육 ‘선사시대 시간여행’과 ‘우리동네 고고학자’를 운영한다고 밝혔습니다.
이번 여름방학 교육은 6세부터 초등학교 6학년까지 무료로 참여할 수 있으며, ‘선사시대 시간여행’은 화요일, ‘우리동네 고고학자’는 금요일에 각각 오전과 오후 2회차로 운영됩니다.
교육 신청 방법은 인천시 통합예약시스템 누리집에서 선착순으로 회차당 10명을 모집하며, 1차 신청은 28~30일까지, 2차 신청은 다음 달 4~6일까지 진행됩니다.
Prehistoric Archaeology Programs at Incheon Geomdan Prehistory Museum
The Incheon Geomdan Prehistory Museum announced that it will hold special summer break programs called “Time Travel to the Prehistoric Era” and “Our Neighborhood Archaeologist” from August 1 to 12.
These free programs are open to children aged 6 to sixth grade. “Time Travel to the Prehistoric Era” will be held on Tuesdays, and “Our Neighborhood Archaeologist” on Fridays. Each program will run twice a day, in the morning and afternoon.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis through the Incheon City integrated reservation website. Ten participants will be accepted per session. The first round of registration is from July 28 to 30, and the second round is from August 4 to 6.

The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center announced that it is recruiting Incheon citizens for the “2025 Second Half Urban Agriculture Specialist Training Course.”
This course trains urban agriculture experts through both theory and practice. Certified urban agriculture specialists can teach, guide, and promote urban farming techniques to city residents and may work as instructors in various fields of urban agriculture.
The course will be held every Thursday from August 14 to November 13 at the Incheon Agricultural Technology Center.

‘인천하늘수 dream 냉장고’ 는 행정복지센터, 공원 내 쉼터, 생활물류노동자 거점 등 시민이 자주 찾는 장소에 설치되어 있으며, 누구나 무료로 시원한 생수를 마실 수 있습니다.
‘Incheon Haneulsoo Dream Refrigerators’ Expanding to 100 Locations in 8 Districts
Incheon City announced that it will expand the “Incheon Haneulsoo Dream Refrigerator” program from 78 locations in 5 districts to 100 locations in 8 districts by the end of next month.
This expansion is a response to the nationwide heat wave and the rise in heat-related illnesses.
The refrigerators are installed in frequently visited places such as administrative welfare centers, park shelters, and rest areas for logistics workers. Anyone can freely take cold bottled water from them.

해양경찰청은 고수온으로 인한 적조와 해파리 확산 위험을 최소화하기 위해 전국 해경 항공기를 동원해 집중 순찰에 나선다고 밝혔습니다.
해경청은 내일부터 다음 달 31일까지 인천, 군산, 부산, 제주 등 전국 10개 항공대 25대의 항공기를 활용해 적조·해파리 발생 우려 지역을 집중적으로 순찰합니다.
이 지역에서 적조나 해파리가 발견되면 국립수산과학원이나 담당 시·도 등 관계기관에 통보하고 적조·해파리 제거 작업을 지원할 방침입니다.
Korea Coast Guard Launches Aerial Patrols to Stop Red Tide and Jellyfish Spread
The Korea Coast Guard announced it will deploy aircraft across the country to monitor and prevent the spread of red tides and jellyfish caused by high sea temperatures.
From tomorrow through August 31, a total of 25 aircraft from 10 air units—including Incheon, Gunsan, Busan, and Jeju—will carry out focused patrols in high-risk areas.
If red tide or jellyfish are found, the Coast Guard will notify the National Institute of Fisheries Science and related local governments and assist with response efforts.

Gyeyang-gu of Incheon City announced that it visited its international sister city, Kaisone Phomvihane in Savannakhet Province, Laos, to discuss practical cooperation in education, healthcare, and cultural exchange.
The visit took place from the 3rd to the 7th and included the district council, Kyung-In Women’s University nursing volunteers, Sejong Hospital heart specialists, and Shinhan Bank.
Through this project, a more spacious and comfortable learning environment was created, and educational equipment such as computers and projectors was donated, improving students’ learning conditions.

Michuhol-gu Carries Out Mosquito Net Installation Project for Vulnerable Residents
Michuhol-gu in Incheon announced it is running a mosquito net installation and replacement project to improve the living environment of vulnerable residents suffering from heat and insect problems.
The project targets about 100 households, including seniors living alone, low-income families, and people with disabilities.
Local administrative centers conducted home inspections and provided tailored support to households with worn or damaged mosquito nets.
