Incheon City to Host Fusion Korean Music Concert on July 30
Incheon Metropolitan City will hold the ‘Soso Music Concert’ on Wednesday, July 30 at 7 p.m. at the Michuhol Cultural Center.
The word Soso (沼沼) means ‘bright and radiant.’ The concert will feature a unique fusion of traditional Korean music and modern K-pop, presented under the theme ‘A Midsummer Night’s Fusion of Korean Music.’

Incheon’s under-12 youth football team is set to participate in the 2025 Korea-Japan Junior Friendly Tournament, taking place from July 23 to 26 in Yokohama, Japan.
The players were selected based on their performance and skill from schools and clubs registered with the Korea Football Association.
The Incheon Football Association said the tournament will provide young athletes with valuable international experience and tactical training, while also promoting sports diplomacy between the two cities.

인천시교육청은 7월 22일부터 23일까지 인천진로교육센터와 10개 진로체험지원센터가 협력해 ‘2025 인천 현장 진로·직업체험의 날’을 운영했습니다.
시교육청에 따르면 지난해에 이어 두 번째로 개최된 이번 행사에는 인천 지역 103개 진로체험처에서 총 298개 프로그램을 운영했으며 초·중·고 학생 4074명이 참여해 다양한 직업을 체험했습니다.

The Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education, in collaboration with the Incheon Career Education Center and 10 Career Experience Support Centers, hosted the ‘2025 Incheon On-Site Career and Job Experience Days’ from July 22 to 23.
According to the Office of Education, this was the second time the event was held, following its inaugural run last year, featuring a total of 298 programs across 103 career experience sites in the Incheon area. A total of 4,074 elementary, middle, and high school students participated, gaining hands-on experience in various professions.
An official from the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education said, “This was a valuable opportunity for students to experience society and the future beyond the classroom,” adding, “We will continue to expand field-based career education.”

The Incheon branch of the Korean Tuberculosis Association is conducting tuberculosis screenings for approximately 1,000 elderly residents aged 65 and older, including senior center users, in Ganghwa-gun, Incheon.
The screenings will be carried out over ten days in two separate phases.
This initiative comes in response to the growing proportion of tuberculosis cases among the elderly population.

인천시 남동구와 남동문화재단이 제25회 소래포구 축제를 앞두고 구민 참여형 사전 프로그램 ‘어등 만들기’ 체험을 8월 13일까지 총 4회에 걸쳐 운영합니다.
이번 행사는 소래포구 해양 생물을 주제로 한 등(어등) 조형물 제작 프로그램으로, 사전 모집된 20개 행정동 구민 100명이 참여합니다.

Namdong-gu Hosts Fish Lantern Workshop Ahead of Soraepogu Festival
Namdong-gu and the Namdong Cultural Foundation are hosting a community workshop in the lead-up to the 25th Soraepogu Festival—an interactive Fish Lantern-making program held four times through August 13.
The workshop brings together 100 residents from all 20 local administrative districts to create lanterns inspired by the marine life of Soraepogu.
Participants will design their own small fish lanterns and collaborate in teams to build large-scale lanterns.
All 102 completed lanterns will be showcased along the ‘Fish Lantern Street’ during the festival, which runs from September 26 to 28.
