The “Tour de DMZ 2017 International Cycling Tour,” a cycling festival open to people from all over the world and hosted by the Ministry of Interior, will get under way across three cities and provinces near the national border area (Incheon-si, Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do). Prior to the Tour de DMZ 2017 International Cycling Tour Competition, Incheon will host the “Tour de DMZ 2017 Ganghwa Cycling Tour” on September 2 (Sat), 2017. ○ Time & Date/Venue: 10:00 ~ 13:30 on September 2 (Sat), 2017/Incheon (Ganghwado, Gyodongdo)
* Opening Ceremony/Award Ceremony: Ganghwa Asiad Stadium
○ Race Route: Circular Road Stage, Ganghwado~Gyodongdo~Ganghwado (70km)
○ Competition Capacity: 1,000+ cycling club members and general contestants, 000 local residents (congratulatory event, etc.)
○ Awards: Total prize money KRW 12 million, individual medals, group trophies (up to 3rd place finishers in 16 categories)
* 7 Individual categories (age, gender classification), 1 group category/MTB and ROAD bike categories
