  1. When purchasing or leasing part or all of a specific industrial complex   pursuant to Article 14(1) of the Ordinance on the Promotion and Support of   Foreign Investment, the amount of foreign investment must exceed the   threshold set by Article 25(1) of the Enforcement Decree of the Foreign Investment Promotion   Act.

  2.  When subsidizing a   portion of the sales price pursuant to Article 14(2) of the Foreign   Investment Promotion and Support Ordinance, the subsidy is limited to the   difference between the standard sales price(the price calculated by taking into   account the construction cost and actual transaction price) and the sales   price stipulated in the sales contract for foreign investments that meet the   criteria for designation as a foreign investment area under Article 25(1) of the   Enforcement Decree of the Foreign Investment Promotion Act. However, for   manufacturing industries, the subsidy shall not exceed the standard factory   area, as determined by the factory area rate set by the Minister of Trade,   Industry, and   Energy.

  3. The subsidy under item 2 may not exceed 50% of the standard sales   price.
    The recipient must have been in   business for at least 10 years.

  • (Under the Special Act on Designation and   Management of Free Economic Zones) When establishing and operating a foreign   educational institution, business expenses (including land purchase and   construction costs) and operating expenses may each be subsidized up to 50%.
  • (Under the Special Act on Designation and   Management of Free Economic Zones) This applies to the new construction and   operation of medical institutions and pharmacies exclusively for foreigners.
