The following announcement includes information for the “2017 Talent Award of Korea” hosted by the Ministry of Education and supervised by the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. We look forward to your recommendations to help discover talented young individuals that will lead the future of Korea in creativity and convergence.

1) No. of Selected Recipients: 100 recipients (50 high school students, 40 university students, 10 general youth applicants)
    - No. of Recipients Recommended by the City: 6 high school students, 6 university students/general youth applicants (x2 recommended)
2) Application Period: 09:00~18:00 on July 10 (Mon) ~ August 7 (Mon), 2017
3) Application Desk: (High school students) Office of Education at the city/province that has jurisdiction over their school
                 (University students) City/Provincial government office that has jurisdiction over their university
                  (General youth applicants) City/Provincial government office that has jurisdiction over the final academic institute they attended
4) Eligibility
    - Domestic high school students and domestic/overseas university students with Korean citizenship (including students on leave)
    - General youth applicants between 15 and 29 years of age

5) Prizes and Special Benefits
    - Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Education Award, KRW 2.5 million prize money
    - Opportunity to attend various training programs, forums, and conferences
