2018 Korea Forest Welfare Service Card (Voucher Card) Application Information
The Korea Forest Welfare Institute - a subsidiary of the Korea Forest Service - is now open for 2018 Korea Forest Welfare Service Card applications. The Korea Forest Welfare Service is an initiative extended to households on the “basic livelihood security allowance system” and people on disability (child) allowance under difficult socio-economic conditions.
Eligible citizens can apply for a Service Card (voucher card) and enjoy a variety of forest services.
A. What is the Korea Forest Welfare Service Card? A voucher card that enables people under difficult socio-economic conditions enjoy various forest services otherwise unavailable using their own resources.
B. Allowance (per Person): KRW 100,000
C. No. of Available Cards for 2018: 25,000 persons (ends when program budget is depleted)
D. Eligibility: Basic livelihood security allowance recipients, disability (child) allowance recipients
E. Application Period: December 20 (Wed), 2017 ~ January 31, 2018 (Wed)
F. Valid Period: February 12 (Mon), 2018 ~ December 31 (Mon), 2018
G. Available Services: Recreational forests, experiential forest programs, etc. registered as forest welfare services.
