In accordance with the Act on Special Cases Concerning Adoption Article 5., Clause 1, May 11 every year has been appointed as the Adoption Day in a bid to stabilize the healthy adoption culture and encourage domestic adoptions. In addition, we are holding various celebrative events for one week after the Adoption Day.
Following is the celebration events for the 13^th Adoption Day in 2018 and slogan recruitment event. For those families adoptees and people with interest, please do come and join.
 
  A. Celebrative events for Adoption Day
  ○ Date and Venue: May 12(Sat), 2018, 14:00 ~ 15:30, Sejong University, Pacific Hall (Gwangjin-gu, Seoul)
    ※ Events (10:00~) Children’s Drawing Competition Awards, Minister of Health & Welfare Awards to be conferred (3 winners) on the very day
  ○ Key contents: Man of Merit awards, Adoption Day Performance and Celebrative Performance, adopted family video play, etc.

  B. Adoption Slogan Recruitment
  ○ Application Date:  April 13(Fri), 2018 ~ April 30(Mon) until 18:00
  ○ Awards ceremony: May 12(Sat), 2018 14:00 (Minister of Health & Welfare awards and monetary prize to be conferred during the Adoption Day event)
