The Incheon Metropolitan City Government is announcing the open contest for the “1,000 Cultural Oasis Support Project for 2019” designed to identify and support private/public cultural venues, and to utilize idle spaces. The project expects to create various cultural venues for Incheon citizens and give them an opportunity to experience culture and art conveniently within their daily lives.

   - Application Desk: 2018 Oasis operators - Gun/Gu government department in charge of the project / New applications - City government Culture and Art Division
  Eligibility
   - Private organizations or individuals currently in possession (operation) of a cultural venue, and willing to share/open said cultural venue to the public
   - Private organizations or individuals willing to operate cultural venues using idle spaces (e.g. subway platforms, underground passages, government offices, etc.) under the authorization of public organizations
   - Cultural venues supported by the 1,000 Cultural Oasis project in 2018
  Application Eligibility: Organizations or individuals - registered place of establishment or residence is in Incheon; or primary place of operation/living is Incheon at the time of this announcement
  Subsidy Amount
   - New Oasis: Max. KRW 12 million/per establishment (based on multi-tier system)
   - Existing Oasis: Max. KRW 10 million/per establishment (based on multi-tier system)
  Subsidized Items
   - Expenses required in managing culture and art programs at the cultural venue
   - Minor repair and installation costs required to open the cultural venue
