The government currently operates the ‘People’s Choice Award’ program where ordinary citizens recommend devoted and hard-working yet unnoticed people in various parts of our society for a government award. We urge you to nominate hidden contributors in our society who show us happiness and hope.
Who can nominate?
Any individual or group can make recommendations. (Please note that self-nominations are not allowed.)
Who can I nominate?
▸ Person who shares: voluntary social work, property or talent donation, considerate to socially vulnerable groups etc.
▸ Person who contributes to safety: rescue of lives, protection of others’ property, daily safety, environmental protection etc.
▸ Person who gives hope: overcoming difficult times, international aid, family love, activities for integration (cooperation) etc.
※ These cases are excluded.
· Independence movement, war veterans, and academic/research/high-tech feats that require expert review from relevant departments
· Achievements relevant to officials duties for public officials
Until when must I nominate?
You can nominate at any time throughout the year.
But 2016 awards will be selected from nominees accepted until June 30, 2016.
How can I nominate?
You can submit a nomination via internet, mobile application, email, or regular mail. Alternatively you can visit the Ministry of Government Administration and Home Affairs and submit a hard copy of your nomination.
