Incheon Metropolitan City is offering the 「Support for Overseas Standard Certification Acquisition 2017 Project」 with the following details. The City looks forward to applications from interested companies.
Project Summary
○ Project name: Support for Overseas Standard Certification Acquisition 2017
○ Project duration: January, 2017 ~ December 31, 2017
○ Supported companies: 16
○ Eligibility: 16 small and medium enterprises (SMEs) under the jurisdiction of Incheon Metropolitan City with up to USD 10 million in exports last year
※ Corporations under jurisdiction: SMEs with their headquarters or factory address registered in Incheon
○ Support details
- Certification field: 218 certification fields including CE, CCC, JIS etc.
※ Overseas standards not included can be applied through the ‘Other standards’ category
- Support scope: Sample test and consulting costs (1 product item per company),
up to KRW 4 million
- Excluded companies
․ Companies receiving subsidies for overseas standard certification from the government or government organizations, other regional municipal authorities for the same product
․ Companies that received support for overseas standard certification acquisition in 2015 and 2016.
※ Companies that abandon the certification process (does not use their designated budget) after being selected for projects by the City will be excluded from priority evaluation for two years
Please note that if budget is used by other substitute companies including those given lower priority, the above company will have one opportunity to reapply for the program

- Application form, proof of actual exported amount in 2016 (issued by the Korea Foreign Trade Association, Korea Customs and Trade Development Institute)
- I copy each of documents to verify items on the application form (business license, factory registration, various certificates, award history etc.)
