< Healing Forest in the City, 치유의 숲 >
2023 도시를 보는 작가전, ‘치유의 숲’이 열린다. 2019년에 시작해 올해로 5회를 맞이하는 현대미술전으로, 올해의 주제는 복잡한 도시 안에서 발견한 ‘치유의 숲’이다. 도시화로 인해 사라지고 있는 숲을 작품으로 만나 치유의 경험을 제공하는 이번 전시는 인천도시역사관을 푸른 숲으로 설정하고, 도시에서 밀려난 숲을 다시 도시 한가운데로 불러들인다. 전시는 최성임 작가의 온실(자앞말), 김유정 작가의 정원(소암홀), 민병훈 작가의 산(아암홀)으로 구성된다.
The 2023 Artist View on City Exhibition will open with the theme 'Healing Forest.' It is a contemporary art exhibition that began in 2019 and is now in its fifth year. The subject for this year is a 'Healing Forest' found in a complex city. This exhibition, which gives a healing experience by displaying forests through artwork when many of them are dying due to urbanization, transforms the Incheon Urban History Museum into a green forest and brings the forests that have been driven out of the city back to the city center. Choi Seong-im's <Greenhouse> (Jaapmal), Kim Yoo-jeong's <Garden> (Soam Hall), and Min Byeong-hoon's <Mountain> comprise the show (Aam Hall).
