Cry of a Father Who Lost His Daughter

- Concert Opera <RIGOLETTO>

The opera <Rigoletto> by the Italian composer 'Verdi' is reborn as a concert opera and will be put on stage at the Incheon Culture and Arts Center. <Rigoletto>, which premiered in 1851, was a turning point in Verdi's musical life, and his unique personality and profound emotional expression reached their peak. Since then, operas created by Verdi have become a permanent repertoire of opera houses worldwide. The drama based on Victor Hugo's <Le Roi s'amuse (The King Amuses Himself)>, revolves around 'Rigoletto,' a court jester who is physically and mentally imperfect but has a heart for his daughter inside. A curse and tragedy begin when Rigoletto's daughter, Gilda, falls in love with the libertine, the Duke of Mantua. This performance is going to be a concert opera, easy to appreciate for audiences who find opera difficult. The casting is also star-studded. With Conductor Hong Seok-won, director Eom Suk-jeong, Gyeonggi Philharmonic Orchestra, Noi Opera Chorus, etc., it will be a wonderful performance.
