The Incheon Metropolitan City Sustainable Development Committee was established to support a sustainable Incheon, where citizens’ well-being today can continue into a shared future for generations to come. Through its work on sustainable development strategies, implementation plans, and policy advice, the Committee has strengthened Incheon’s sustainability and supported progress toward local sustainable development goals. Following the enactment and enforcement of the Framework Act on Sustainable Development, the Incheon Metropolitan City Sustainable Development Committee was relaunched. The Committee now reviews basic strategies and implementation plans for sustainable development across municipal administration. Its work also includes sustainability assessments of major ordinances and administrative plans, policy feedback, and the preparation of sustainability reports.
