Invitation to Depth II - Ahn Jong-do's Musical Play 

Invitation to Depth, a new drama series at Arts Center Incheon, is a project that transforms literary works into pansori, music and play. Racine's èdre> is recreated in Ahn Jong-do's unique music in the second season. The story of the Athenian queen 'Phèdre,' who falls into a disaster due to her yearning for her stepson 'Hippolyte,' is a masterwork that conveys the tangled emotions between love and social discipline. Jean-Philippe Rameau's music is used to round off the presentation.
