Uzbekistan Kurash Team, successfully concludes its training program in Incheon

○ The Uzbekistan Kurash team, this year’s second visiting group for the “OCA-Incheon Vision 2014 Program” which is a program that helps countries with modest sporting capabilities across Asia and the legacy of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, successfully completed its training in Incheon.
 
○ Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok) announced that the seven-man delegation arrived in Incheon on June 5 and completed all sessions included in the invitational training program in Incheon for two weeks and returned home after a completion ceremony on June 19.

○ With Incheon Kurash Association Managing Director Kim Seok-il as the training partner and coach of the program in Incheon, the athletes engaged in intensive group skill training. Evaluation results suggest that the programs were effective in raising the performance levels of both the athletes from Uzbekistan and the training partners.

○ In particular, the athletes commented that the professional sports exercise prescription examination and sports consulting received through the athletic performance improvement program at the Nam-gu Community Health Center was extremely helpful. Also, the cultural experience programs in Songdo International City etc. received an enthusiastic response from the athletes as it gave them an opportunity to enjoy a variety of different aspects of Incheon.

○ The Uzbekistan Kurash Team Coach Soatov Elmurod said, "Incheon is a beautiful, a clean city. I am really grateful for the opportunity you have given us to train in this wonderful place."
 
○ An Incheon City official said, "The Vision 2014 program has received much acclaim from the international sports community and has also been a bridge between Asian countries and Incheon City." The official added, "We will continue to strive for the balanced development of sports across Asia and raise the brand value of Incheon City."
