- Business Roundtable highlights strategies to expand global investment and build partnerships -

Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it co-hosted the 2026 Incheon Business Roundtable with the Korea Foreign Company Association (FORCA) at Inspire Resort in Yeongjongdo Island from Jul. 3–4, expanding its cooperation network with foreign-invested companies while promoting the city’s future industrial competitiveness and investment environment.

Established in 1978, FORCA is a business support organization for foreign-invested companies in Korea,

offering a wide range of services to its network of approximately 1,500 member companies. Following the signing of an MoU with FORCA last year, Incheon once again partnered with the association to organize this year’s event. The plan is to continue exchanges and collaboration with foreign-invested companies.

During the investment briefing held on Jul. 3, Jeon Ji-sook, Director of the Incheon Investment Promotion Division, presented the city’s Gyeyang Techno Valley Investment Attraction Strategy. Meanwhile, Lee Hyuk from the Korea Automotive Technology Institute introduced Incheon’s future industry development policies and investment environment under the theme “AI Connected Cars in Incheon.”

The event brought together more than 50 CEOs from foreign-invested companies, including FORCA Chairman Moon Go-young, who also serves as CEO of RWE Renewables in Korea, as well as executives from Siemens Korea and STATS ChipPAC Korea. Participants discussed ways to bolster Incheon’s competitiveness in future industries and expand global business cooperation.

On Jul. 4, participants joined a site tour of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Promotion Center and Smart City Operations Center. The tour provided an opportunity to learn about the achievements and future vision of the Incheon Free Economic Zone. Attendees also witnessed the city’s integrated smart city management system firsthand, showcasing Incheon’s advanced industrial infrastructure and future growth potential.

Lee Sun-ho, Director of the Global City Bureau of Incheon, stated, “This Business Roundtable provided a valuable opportunity to further strengthen our cooperation network with foreign-invested companies while effectively demonstrating Incheon’s future industrial competitiveness and outstanding investment environment. We will continue to expand practical investment opportunities and business partnerships through ongoing engagement with global companies.”
