International Career Fair Held... Over 300 Citizens Attended


On the 16th, around 200 Incheon citizens and university students interested in careers with international organizations attended the 'International Career Fair 2024' held at G Tower in Songdo.

Co-hosted by Incheon City and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event featured personnel managers from seven major international organizations including the UN Secretariat, UNESCO, OECD(Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development), and the International Criminal Court. 

They introduced recruitment and personnel systems for each organization, and gave tips on how to write resumes when applying to international organizations.

Additionally, a mock interview was conducted for pre-registered participants who passed the document screening. Top of Form

Participants shared their impressions through a survey that they found it very helpful because they learned about the preparations needed for working in international organizations and gained insights into the specific tasks and challenges faced by international organization professionals.




Incheon Yeonsu-Gu, Hosted 2024 US Summer Vacation Camp Opening Ceremony


Yeonsu-Gu in Incheon City hosted the opening ceremony for the 2024 US Summer Vacation Camp, organized by the Yeonsu Global Language Education Center (YGLEC), where local elementary and middle school students participate to experience the advanced educational system and local culture of the United States.

Fifteen students from elementary and middle schools in Yeonsu-Gu are participating in this camp. 

The camp will take place at Southlands Christian School in Los Angeles, USA, from July 22nd to August 9th.

Students will participate in regular classes at the local school with various programs such as Sports, Music, Computer Studies, Cooking, and Arts. 

They will also have the opportunity to experience American culture through verified homestay arrangements.




Multicultural Association-National Medical Center Society Provides Free Medical Services in Incheon


The Korea Multicultural Association, in collaboration with the National Medical Center's medical volunteer club 'The Neighbors', provided free medical services for multicultural families and migrant workers in Incheon at the Incheon Support Center for Foreign Residents on the 13th.

Treatments including medication, acupuncture, and medical consultations were provided to 54 patients from countries such as China, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, and Myanmar.

Also, a Mobile Clinic, supported and operated by the Korea Foundation for International Healthcare and Kyung Hee University Medical Center, provided ultrasound and gynecological treatments.




Ganghwa-gun Namsan and Gwancheong Parks Changed into Theme Parks


Ganghwa-gun is launching a project to transform Namsan Community Park and Gwancheong Community Park into theme parks.

By September, Namsan Community Park will be divided into seven zones with the theme "Starry Night with Milky Way Pouring Down," featuring health trails with pine trees, a rainbow bridge, Milky Way path, memory path, wildflower path, zelkova forest path, and a royal azalea hill.

The county plans to complete the construction document of the Gwancheong Community theme park project within this year and commence the project from next year.




Incheon Enterprise Management Support Center Opens in Songdo... Hub for SMEs Development


On the 16th, a comprehensive support organization aimed at resolving technology, management, and business development challenges for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) opened in Songdo International BusinessDistrict.

The center includes facilities such as a business lounge that can be used as a shared office, business counters, multipurpose rooms, coaborative spaces for SMEs.

Furthermore, the center plans to provide various support programs for SMEs, offering business consultations, education, and consulting services.

An official from Incheon City stated, "Through diverse business support policies, we aim to create an optimal environment for business management."
