Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education Partners with KT to Support Multicultural Students through Virtual Korean Language Classes

On August 27, the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education announced its collaboration with KT to support multicultural students in Incheon through the 'Multicultural Online Korean Language Class.' 

According to the Incheon Metropolitan City Office of Education, the program, which has concluded its first semester, will continue in the second half of the year with online mentoring for 20 elementary school students who are new immigrants or foreigners. The classes will run from September to February of next year.

The educational program includes weekly sessions that focus on Korean language learning using 1,500 writing materials in the basic Korean course, as well as emotional coaching to enhance social skills and personal development related to everyday life and peer interactions.

Additionally, students will participate in bi-monthly sessions in art, Korean history, and world history to help them adapt to Korean culture.





Incheon City Unveils Visual Strategy to Lead the Global Hydrogen Era with a Unique Hydrogen Brand

Incheon City has developed and unveiled a distinctive visual brand for hydrogen energy.


The newly created brand design effectively conveys the eco-friendliness and safety of hydrogen energy.

The design uses green to symbolize environmental friendliness and blue to represent purity. It is inspired by the chemical symbol for hydrogen, H₂.

Incheon and Qingdao Declare Cruise Cooperation and Prepare for Operations Next Year

Incheon City and Qingdao City in China are strengthening their collaboration as cruise homeports. 

The two cities, in partnership with the Qingdao municipal government, have announced the 'Declaration on International Cooperation for the Damo Port Cruise.'

The cities will collaborate to establish a multi-homeport model for Damo Port cruises, enhance the quality of tourism services, and develop a cruise industry cluster.

Following the declaration, the Chinese cruise line Blue Dream Cruises is set to prepare for operations between Incheon and Qingdao in the first half of next year.






'2024 Kiaf Incheon Airport Special Exhibition' to be Held at Incheon International Airport

Incheon Airport will host the '2024 Kiaf (Korea International Art Fair) Incheon Airport Special Exhibition' from August 26 to September 22. This exhibition will serve as the first gateway for international visitors arriving in Korea to attend the Kiaf Frieze Seoul 2024, which will be held from September 4 to 8.

Organized by the Galleries Association of Korea, the exhibition will showcase works by leading Kiaf artists and will feature participation from 10 galleries selected through a review process.

The exhibition will take place at the Transportation Center in Terminal 1.
