Ganghwa County in Incheon Operates a Rural Bus Service on Jumun Island and Boleum Island 


Ganghwa County in Incheon announced the successful completion of the “2024 Rural Bus Service Project” to support health management for residents in islands with inadequate medical infrastructure. 

Over the course of two days on the 23rd and 24th, the country conducted health check-ups for more than 300 residents on Jumun Island and Boleum Island in Seodo-myeon. 

The health check-ups, conducted at the Seodo-myeon Community Center and Boleum 1-ri Village Hall, involved over 20 medical staff and volunteers from the Korean traditional medicine organization, Sunlight Maru. 

A county official stated that they will continue to do their best to improve the health and quality of life for island residents. 





Incheon Tourism Organization Finalizes the Top 9 Experiences to Have in Incheon, “9 Scenic Spots in Incheon” 


Incheon and the Incheon Tourism Organization announced the final selection of “9 Scenic Spots in Incheon”, featuring nine unique experiences that you must have in Incheon. 

The “9 Scenic Spots in Incheon” extends beyond the meaning of scenery (景) to encompass the concept of experience (經). It aims to discover vibrant tourist attractions that not only serve as sights to see, but also inspire diverse experiences that visitors can share. 

The “9 Scenic Spots in Incheon” includes: △Traveling back to the past at the 1883 Open Port △Enjoying the romantic Wolmido on the Wolmido Sea Train △Experiencing nature and ecology at Sorae Port, a harbor in the city △Meeting the natural monument, the seal, on Baengnyeongdo, the northernmost island in South Korea.  

Baek Hyun, the president of the Tourism Organization, stated that they selected the “9 Scenic Spots in Incheon” with the hope that the spots will be recognized as unique experiences, alongside the famous tourist attractions that come to mind when people think of Incheon. 





Incheon Hosts the “2024 Incheon Women’s Job Fair”


Incheon announced that it will hold the “2024 Incheon Women’s Job Fair” on the 25th in the central hall of Incheon City Hall, providing various employment opportunities for women seeking jobs. 

The event will feature a variety of activities to enhance job seekers’ employability, including: ▲a “On-Site Recruitment Area” for interviews and hiring consultations with 15 local companies ▲a job consulting hall ▲a promotion hall for future emerging industries ▲a “Related Organizations Hall” providing job policies and employment information from Incheon and affiliated organizations. Additionally, there will be opportunities for resume photo shoots, personal color analysis, makeup consulting, and fingerprint personality tests. 

Women job seekers hoping to find employment can participate in on-site interviews by bringing their resumes, identification, self-introductions, and copies of their certificates during the event.  





Incheon Hosts the K-League International Youth Cup 


The K-League International Youth Cup, which brings promising young soccer players from around the world together, is being held in Incheon this year, following its inaugural tournament last September to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the K-League. 

Incheon announced that the “K-League International Youth Cup Incheon 2024” will be held for seven days from September 28th to October 4th at football stadiums in Incheon. 

The tournament is organized by the Korea Professional Football League, co-hosted by the Korea Professional Football League and the Incheon Football Association, with support from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Sports Promotion Foundation, and Incheon. 

An Incheon City official stated that they hope this tournament will provide a platform for youth players to showcase their skills and pursue their dreams.
