Incheon to Host International Police Industry Expo

Incheon will hold the “2024 Korea Police World Expo” from October 23 to 26 at Songdo Convensia. This is the only specialized exhibition for public safety and security industries in Korea, recognized as an excellent event for four consecutive years. This year’s expo will feature the largest-ever export consultation, with over 50 international police buyers and 30 private buyers invited in cooperation with KOTRA.

3rd Incheon Landscape Photo Exhibition Opens

Incheon is hosting the “3rd Incheon Landscape Record Photo Exhibition” from October 8 to 11 at Sangsang Platform in Jung-gu. The exhibition displays award-winning photos of Incheon’s iconic landmarks, such as Incheon mudflats, Sorae Port, and Incheon Bridge, to promote the importance of preserving these beautiful landscapes.

15th Anniversary Photo Exhibition for Sister Cities Phnom Penh and Yokohama

Incheon will hold a photo exhibition from October 14 to 18 at City Hall’s main building to celebrate 15 years of sisterhood with Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and Yokohama, Japan. The exhibition aims to promote understanding and cooperation, showcasing 10 photos from Phnom Penh and 14 from Yokohama, along with messages from the cities.

Incheon Education Office Promotes Dokdo Day Awareness

The Incheon Education Office will distribute Dokdo Day card news to all schools to promote historical awareness. Dokdo Day, celebrated on October 25, marks the inclusion of Dokdo as an island under Ulleungdo in 1900 by Emperor Gojong. Schools will also conduct “Dokdo Education Week” to reinforce the importance of Dokdo’s historical significance.
