Incheon Honors 99 Model Citizens on Citizen’s Day


Incheon Metropolitan City hosted a recognition ceremony on October 28 at City Hall to celebrate its 60th Citizen’s Day, awarding 99 outstanding citizens for their dedication and contributions to the community. Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok commended the recipients, calling them “true heroes” who have quietly supported Incheon’s growth, adding that their exemplary citizenship is a driving force in making Incheon one of the world’s top 10 cities.




2024 Incheon International Environmental Technology Confex Kicks Off October 31


Incheon will host the 2024 Incheon International Environmental Technology Confex at Songdo Convensia from October 31 to November 1. Now in its third year, this event is the only environmental technology-focused international exhibition led by a local government in Korea. An Incheon city official noted that, as a city committed to its “2045 Carbon Neutral Vision,” Incheon will continue efforts toward sustainable development and climate action.




8th Asia-Pacific Regional Symposium Opens October 30 in Songdo


Incheon City will host the 8th Regional Symposium from October 30 to November 1 at Songdo Convensia, focused on “Global Collaboration for Sustainable Future Governance in the Age of AI.” Launched in 2017, the annual symposium brings together experts from the UN and the Asia-Pacific region to discuss strategies for achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. This year, over 300 attendees from 48 countries, including public officials, academics, and youth leaders, will participate in sessions, forums, and special programs.




‘Handcrafted Korean Agricultural Products and Bojagi’ Exhibition Runs Until November 14


The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center is hosting the “Handcrafted Korean Agricultural Products and Bojagi” exhibition from October 28 to November 14. This exhibit highlights the local produce and farming culture of Incheon, providing visitors with opportunities to explore fresh products and learn about educational farm programs. The exhibit is open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and on Sunday, November 10, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
