Incheon to Help Small Business Startups with Crowdfunding Support


The Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it is recruiting businesses for the Small Business Startup Crowdfunding Support Program.

This program provides early-stage small business owners with opportunities to test their products in the market and secure initial operating funds, helping them enter the market and build a foundation for growth.

The application period is from February 7 to March 4. Any small business located in Incheon, established within the last seven years, and offering products or services suitable for online sales can apply.

Crowdfunding means raising funds from the public through a platform where companies introduce innovative ideas or products.

A total of 13 businesses will be selected and supported this year.




Incheon Strengthens Hygiene Inspections of Delivery Restaurants


The Incheon Metropolitan City announced plans to conduct intensive hygiene inspections of delivery restaurants from February 10 to 14 to prevent food poisoning incidents and promote a safe food environment.

The inspections will cover 160 delivery restaurants that prepare and sell popular foods for children, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, and tteokbokki.

High-risk menu items will be sampled and tested to ensure safety.

Businesses found violating the Food Sanitation Act or receiving unsatisfactory test results will face administrative actions.




Incheon to Renovate Aging Parks


The Incheon Metropolitan City announced its commitment to improving park services by expanding urban parks and enhancing aging park facilities as part of its “Happy Parks for Citizens” project.

The city has secured a budget of 8.45 billion won for 2025 to carry out various projects, including expanding urban parks, upgrading and increasing children’s play facilities, improving aging park environments, and building barefoot walking trails and other amenities.

A city official stated, “We will create parks where citizens can relax and enjoy their daily lives, providing spaces for all generations. We will reflect citizens’ opinions to create pleasant and safe environments that everyone can enjoy.”




 

Incheon Dad Childcare Angels Recruiting New Members


The Incheon Metropolitan City, in collaboration with the Incheon Branch of the Korea Population, Health and Welfare Association, announced the recruitment of new members for the Incheon Dad Childcare Angels in 2025.

This program began in January 2021 with 208 members and now has 2,053 dads participating. It is a unique parenting community operated only in Incheon among 17 local governments and is highly appreciated by families with young children.

The recruitment is open to dads residing in Incheon with children in third grade or below. Starting this year, the eligibility criteria have expanded from second grade to third grade, allowing more fathers and children to join.
