Additional Recruitment for Incheon City Children's Participation Committee


Incheon Metropolitan City is calling for additional members for its "Children's Participation Committee," targeting elementary, middle, and high school students to join the third term. 

This effort is part of the city's commitment to a child-friendly environment and children's participation rights.

The Children's Participation Committee has been a key platform for child participation in policy discussions and rights advocacy since its inception in 2020.

With the third-term committee currently active, this additional recruitment will select 9 new members.

Applications are accepted from February 17 to 28. Children interested in applying can download the application form from the city’s website and submit it via email






Incheon City Enhances Safety Measures for Chocolate Products Ahead of Valentine's Day


In anticipation of Valentine's Day, Incheon Metropolitan City has conducted safety inspections on 30 cocoa-processed and chocolate products. 

The city has blocked the distribution of one non-compliant product that exceeded bacterial count standards.

The inspection was part of the "Food Safety Network Project," a collaboration between Incheon's Sanitation Policy Division and Incheon Institute of Health &. Environment to prevent the spread of harmful food products. The non-compliant product was promptly recalled and reported to the relevant local authorities and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.

An official from Incheon Metropolitan City stated, "We are committed to strengthening food inspections to protect our citizens' health.“






Incheon Metropolitan City Seeks Trainees for Traditional Sauce Making Course


The Incheon Agricultural Technology Center has announced the recruitment of trainees for the "Citizen Fermentation School: Jang Making Course," starting from the 19th.

Participants will learn all the processes involved in making traditional Korean sauces through both theory and hands-on practice. This initiative aims to promote the benefits of fermented foods and encourage proper dietary habits.

The course will be held at the Agricultural Technology Center's Inheejae, where participants will learn every step of making jang, beginning with the initial jang making on March 6, jang separating in May, and jang sharing in November.





Incheon City Aims to Host F1 Grand Prix in 2027, Kicks Off Feasibility Study This Month


Incheon Metropolitan City brings its efforts in full swing to host the prestigious Formula 1 (F1) Grand Prix for the first time in 2027. This month, the city will commission a feasibility study and initial planning process for the event.

The feasibility study is scheduled to begin next month and will take five months to complete. 

By mid-2025, the city plans to establish a basic framework for the F1 event and sign an MOU with the F1 Group. The city will then proceed to negotiate specific hosting conditions and conduct necessary administrative procedures for national funding support, including feasibility verification by a designated government agency.
