Incheon to Operate Visiting Consumer Counseling Service

The Incheon Metropolitan City Government will operate a Outreach Consumer Counseling Service from April to November to assist senior citizens and multicultural families with limited access to consumer counseling and information.

Under this program, professional counselors will visit senior citizen centers and multicultural institutions to offer consumer counseling, dispute resolution services, and consumer information.

Counseling sessions for senior citizens will be held twice a month at designated institutions in each district, while regular monthly sessions will be provided for multicultural families, including marriage immigrants.

Incheon to Run Advanced Resource Recycling Facility Tour Program

The Incheon Metropolitan City Government will operate the Advanced Resource Recycling Facility Tour Program twice a month from March 12 to November, offering citizens the opportunity to visit Hanam Union Park and Pyeongtaek Awesome Plex to enhance public communication on resource recycling centers.

Incheon launched this program last year to promote public awareness and provide accurate information on expanding resource recycling centers. The tours are open to Incheon citizens, district groups, and environmental interpreters.

Citizens can apply for the tours via the QR code on the information notice or by calling (032-440-3585). Participants can also be recommended by district offices.

Incheon Special Judicial Police Crack Down on Hygiene Product Businesses

The Incheon Special Judicial Police announced that they had uncovered seven businesses violating the Hygiene Products Control Act during inspections of hygiene product manufacturers and wet towel processing businesses from February 10 to 21.

The crackdown targeted hygiene products commonly used in daily life, such as dishwashing detergent, tissues, and wet towels provided at restaurants.

The seven businesses caught violating the law will be referred to the prosecution, and administrative measures will be requested from the relevant district offices.

First Coffee Concert of the Year to Kick Off!

The first Coffee Concert of 2025 will take place on Wednesday, March 19, at 2 p.m. at the Dong-gu Culture and Sports Center.

Singer Park Hye-kyung, known for her husky yet clear and solid voice, will share the stage with the Cho Yoon-sung Trio, one of Korea’s top jazz ensembles, creating a heartwarming spring atmosphere filled with the charm of jazz.

Launched in 2008, the Coffee Concert is a monthly matinée performance held on the third Wednesday at 2 p.m. The event has gained nationwide popularity beyond Incheon, offering audiences a variety of genres along with a fragrant cup of coffee.
