Incheon to Adjust 10 Bus Routes Including a New Route in Yeongjong
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will adjust 10 city bus routes, finalized through the first route review in 2025.
The changes will be applied gradually starting from the end of April.
This aims to provide better bus services by reflecting new demands
and changing transportation conditions in the city.
Incheon plans to continue adjusting and improving its bus routes to respond quickly to changing needs caused by large housing projects, new industrial zones, and the opening of the 3rd Link Bridge. The focus will remain on making routes more convenient for citizens.
Incheon Publishes Manual for Barefoot Walking Trails
Incheon City has created and distributed a manual for the planning and maintenance of barefoot walking trails. The goal is to let citizens enjoy walking barefoot in a cleaner and safer environment.
The manual was developed through surveys of local trails, case studies from other regions, and policy research by the Incheon Research Institute, along with feedback from related departments.
As of January 2025, there are 56 barefoot trails in parks and green areas across the city. Incheon plans to add 14 more trails by the end of this year.
Artist Woosol Lee Minwoo Holds Exhibition at City Hall Station
The Incheon City Museum will host the ‘Woosol Solo Exhibition’ from April 7 to May 21 at the Open Museum inside Incheon City Hall Station.
The Open Museum has been operated by the city museum since 2020 under a joint agreement with Incheon Transit Corporation. It offers citizens various cultural and historical content.
The exhibition can be visited for free during subway operating hours at the Open Museum on B3 level near exits 1 and 9 of City Hall Station.
Record Pop-Up Store at Old Chinese Shop in Incheon
Incheon City and Incheon Tourism Organization announced they will hold the ‘2025 Record Pop-Up Store’ on April 12–13.
The pop-up is part of the ‘Have A Nice Day #11’ music festival and will take place inside an old Chinese shop in the Incheon Open Port area. This is the first pop-up event using the old shop, offering unique content in a limited space. It aims to create branding for the space and give visitors a special experience of both past and present.
The Tourism Organization plans to turn this forgotten space into a new cultural spot that represents local trends in the Open Port area.
