Incheon City announced that it was the only metropolitan local government nationwide to receive a Presidential Institutional Commendation at the "2025 14th Population Day" commemorative event hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare.
Incheon City was honored with this award for its highly evaluated achievements in innovative population policies that proactively responded to the ultra-low birth rate crisis.
Incheon's population increased by 10,341 people in the first quarter of this year, recording 3,031,361 people as of the end of March.
Incheon City Holds Resident Briefing Sessions for Aging Planned City Renovation Master Plan
Incheon City announced that it will hold district-by-district resident briefing sessions from today through the 18th in accordance with the "Special Act on Renovation and Support of Aging Planned Cities."

Incheon City Participates in Jeju International Cruise Forum
Incheon City participated in the "12th Jeju International Cruise Forum (2025 Asia Cruise Forum Jeju)" held at the Jeju International Convention Center from the 10th to 12th, successfully operating an "Incheon Joint Promotion Booth" and actively developing Asian cruise network strengthening and port-of-call marketing.
This forum, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province and organized by the Jeju Tourism Organization, is the largest international cruise-specialized event in Korea. It was held under the theme "Vision for Asian Cruises in 2035 - Sailing from 9% to 20% Global Market Share," with approximately 600 officials from 180 organizations across 12 countries participating.

Incheon City Provides 150 Billion Won Emergency Funding Support to Export Companies Affected by US Tariffs
Incheon City is launching 150 billion won in business stabilization funding support for local small and medium-sized export companies suffering from business difficulties due to the United States' high tariff policies.
The initiative aims to minimize damage to regional businesses overall, including not only companies in major export sectors such as semiconductors and pharmaceuticals that have been directly hit by tariffs, but also related partner companies.
Up to 500 million won per company will be supported, with the city providing an equal subsidy of 2.0% of loan interest under a one-year maturity lump-sum repayment condition.
Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Hosts 'International Cultural Exchange' for Incheon and Overseas Korean Students
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education has created a communication platform that brings together Korean youth from around the world.
This exchange, held under the theme "Our Special Summer Story Meeting in Our Homeland," involved approximately 90 overseas Korean youth from around the world and about 30 high school students from the Incheon area, who participated in various activities in education, culture, and arts.
The Metropolitan Office of Education plans to provide communication spaces once each in this month and next month to promote international cultural exchanges.
