Incheon Office of Education Welcomes 3-Year Extension of National Funding for Free High School Education


The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education has welcomed the government’s decision to extend national funding for free high school education by three more years, through 2027.

The Superintendent noted, “Having fully shouldered the cost of free high school education this year, the weight of that financial burden was deeply felt in the field. This amendment was absolutely necessary.”





Incheon Housing & City Development Corporation Launches AI Fitness Testing Station for Residents


The Incheon Housing & City Development Corporation (iH) announced the opening of its “AI Citizen Health Fitness Testing Station” on August 6 at the Guwol Asiad Village Complex 7, launching a smart health service for local residents.

At the station, residents can easily assess their physical condition—including muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiorespiratory endurance, and flexibility.

The 2025 Youth Concert will take place on Thursday, August 14 at 7 p.m. at Ssarijae Hall, located in the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education Culture Center for Students.

The 8th Incheon Queer Culture Festival is scheduled to take place on September 6 in the area surrounding Incheon City Hall.

At a press conference held in front of City Hall, the festival’s organizing committee—comprising 36 civil society groups—stated, “We are making thorough preparations to create a festival where LGBTQ+ individuals can fully express themselves and take pride in their identity.”
