Incheon to Host 2026 Integrity Film Festival
The Incheon Metropolitan City Audit Office will hold the 2026 Integrity Film Festival at CGV Incheon from June 24 to 25 as part of efforts to promote integrity and strengthen public service ethics.
The film festival is one of the key programs of Incheon Integrity & Proactive Administration Week, which runs from June 22 to 26, and is expected to attract about 450 city employees to take time to reflect on the value of integrity.
Films selected for screening focus on themes of integrity and organizational culture. On June 24, the film Humint will be shown, encouraging viewers to reflect on the responsibilities and role of public officials.
On June 25, Send Help will be screened, focusing on preventing workplace abuse and fostering a culture of mutual respect.
Citizens’ Donations Become History at Incheon Metropolitan City Museum
The Incheon Metropolitan City Museum held the 2025 artifact donors’ appreciation ceremony on June 23.
Since 2013, the museum has held a ceremony to honor artifact donors from the previous year, presenting them with certificates of appreciation and commemorative catalogs, while also allowing them to place personalized name plaques on the museum’s Donors Hall of Fame wall.
This year, 33 individual donors, along with one school and one company, were invited to the ceremony.
Together, they donated 672 collections comprising 1,669 individual artifacts in 2025. Donors and their families participated in the event, reflecting on the significance of preserving historical artifacts for future generations.
Incheon Launches 6th Conflict Management Promotion Committee
Incheon Metropolitan City held the "2nd Conflict Management Promotion Committee Meeting of 2026" and discussed major pending issues regarding public conflict management, coinciding with the launch of the 6th Conflict Management Promotion Committee.
The committee serves as an advisory body aimed at preventing and systematically managing disputes that may arise during the implementation of public policies.
It is composed of experts from various fields, including conflict resolution, public administration, and law.
The newly formed committee consists of 12 members, including seven returning members and five newly appointed members. Over the next year, the committee will provide advice on the city’s public conflict management policies and major conflict-related issues.
Incheon Launches Driver’s License Classes for Foreign Workers
Incheon Metropolitan City is introducing a driver's license class for foreign workers in cooperation with the Incheon Nonhyeon Police Station and the Incheon Foreign Workers Support Center.
The initiative aims to help foreign workers improve traffic safety awareness and support their successful settlement in local communities.
As the number of foreign workers residing in Korea continues to rise, concerns have grown over traffic accidents caused by unfamiliarity with Korean road conditions and traffic regulations.
The program combines traffic safety education with preparation for the written driver's license examination.
The first session, held on June 14, was attended by 116 workers from Myanmar. A second session is scheduled for June 28 for workers from the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia.
Incheon Traditional Market Goods Expo Returns to Soraepo-gu
Incheon Metropolitan City will host the 15th Incheon Traditional Market Goods Exhibition from June 26 to 28 at Haeoreum Plaza in Soraepo-gu.
Now in its 15th year, the event is one of the city’s representative traditional market festivals and is designed to promote and support traditional markets by showcasing and selling quality products from across the city.
Hosted by Incheon City and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organized by the Incheon Merchants Association, the exhibition will feature around 40 traditional markets and more than 90 booths, an expansion from last year.
Visitors will be able to enjoy product exhibitions and sales, food markets, local specialty promotions, cultural performances, and a variety of hands-on activities.
