Incheon Partners with Five Korean Medicine Clinics to Strengthen Childcare Safety Network

Incheon Metropolitan City has signed business agreements with five local Korean medicine clinics to build an integrated medical safety network for childcare services.

Under the agreements, the city and participating medical institutions will provide medical consultations and treatment referrals when signs of child abuse are detected in childcare settings.

They will also strengthen healthcare and medical welfare support for childcare workers. With the new partnerships, the city's Metropolitan Childcare Support Center has expanded its care network to include a total of nine medical institutions.

As a result, staff at Incheon Metropolitan City and its nine district childcare support centers, childcare providers, and their immediate family members will be eligible for benefits such as discounted health checkups and reduced fees for non-covered medical services.
