‘인천 섬 도도하게 살아보기’는 관광객들이 섬 자원을 활용한 다양한 활동을 체험하며 주민과 함께 일상을 즐기는 체류형 관광 프로그램이다. 2021년 첫 운영을 시작했으며 올해는 대폭 확대해 옹진·강화 14개 섬에서 운영한다. 주민들이 운영하는 숙소와 음식점을 이용하도록 프로그램을 구성해 여행객에게 진정한 섬의 매력을 전하고 있다.

'Living Like an Islander on an Island in Incheon' is an experience-based tour program where guests participate in various activities using the island's resources and interact with the locals daily. It began in 2021 and will be considerably expanded and operational in 14 islands in Ongjin and Ganghwa this year. It exposes the actual charm of the islands to visitors through programs that use accommodations and restaurants operated by islanders.

올해의 프로그램은 5월 29일부터 운영을 시작했다. 섬 개수뿐만 아니라 프로그램도 새로이 접목했다. 은하수를 보며 전문가가 설명해주는 ‘은하수 체험’, 주민이 가이드해주는 ‘섬 마을 투어’, 마을 이장님과 함께하는 ‘배낚시 체험’, 맑은 바다에서 즐기는 ‘투명 카약과 패들 보트’ 등 특색있는 프로그램으로 구성됐다. 또 인천시는 올해 관광상품의 참가비 지원 한도를 최대 50%까지 확대해 관광객의 부담을 줄인다. 주민과 관광객이 함께 즐기는 여행을 통해 섬에는 경제 활성화를, 관광객에게는 특별한 추억을 남기는 ‘인천 섬 도도하게 살아보기’는 온라인(스마트 스토어)에서 신청할 수 있다.

In addition, Incheon will ease the burden on travelers this year by increasing funding for tour program costs by up to 50%.
