Airports around the world are transforming from mere transportation hubs into cultural spaces that shape both the start and the end of a journey, as they are the first place to welcome travelers and the last to bid them farewell. Incheon International Airport, designed as a vibrant cultural venue, also showcases Korea’s diverse charms and offers experiences that leave a lasting impression. The excitement of travel now begins the moment travelers enter the airport.

From the moment travelers arrive at the airport, they find a space to discover today’s Korea. HiKR Station combines a wide variety of Korean Wave content, including K-pop, K-beauty, and K-games. The name “HiKR” mixes “Hi,” a friendly greeting, with “KR,” representing Korea’s warm welcome to travelers worldwide.

공항에 도착한 순간, 오늘날의 한국을 만날 수 있는 공간이 있다. K-팝, K-뷰티, K-게임 등 다양한 한류 콘텐츠가 집약된 하이커 스테이션(HiKR station)이다. 하이커(HiKR)에는 한국(KR)이 전 세계 여행객에게 건네는 반가운 인사(Hi)라는 의미가 담겨 있다. 

As visitors step into the violet space, large sculptural installations in the shape of the HiKR letters immediately draw attention. Between installations, visitors strike a pose, bending their bodies and so on to take memorable photos. There is also a special event, offering a 10% discount at nearby restaurants when visitors present photos taken at the station.

보랏빛을 내뿜는 공간으로 들어서면 하이커 알파벳을 형상화한 거대한 조형물이 시선을 사로잡는다. 방문객들은 이 조형물 사이에서 몸을 굽히거나 포즈를 취하며 인증 사진을 남긴다. 특히 이곳에서 촬영한 사진을 제시하면 인근 식당에서 10% 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있는 이벤트도 진행 중이다. 

The “HiCut Shot” zone, where visitors can take self-photos against backdrops of famous Korean landmarks and food, is always lively with those eager to create fun memories. At HiKR Station, visitors can dance to their favorite K-pop songs or produce short videos, while the “Beauty Up” space offers preparation areas and props for shooting. “HiKR Pick,” where participants can receive various goods through interactive experiences, is also available.

한국 명소와 음식 등을 배경으로 셀프 사진을 촬영할 수 있는 ‘하이컷 샷’에서는 재밌는 추억을 남기고자 하는 이들로 북적인다. ‘하이커 스테이션’에서는 좋아하는 K-팝 음악에 맞춰 춤을 추거나 짧은 영상을 제작할 수 있으며, ‘뷰티업’ 공간에서는 촬영 준비와 각종 소품을 대여할 수 있다. 체험을 통해 다양한 굿즈를 받을 수 있는 ‘하이커 픽’도 마련되어 있다.

HiKR Station is open to everyone free of charge, and the dedicated Hi-ten Crew is always on site to assist visitors with photos, quizzes, games, and a variety of interactive experiences. 

하이커스테이션은 누구나 자유롭게 이용할 수 있으며, 전담 운영인력인 하이텐 크루가 상주하고 있어 방문객들에게 사진촬영, 퀴즈, 게임 등 다양한 체험을 지원한다.

국가유산 방문 캠페인 홍보관 

Korea’s national heritage, which reflects the country’s history and traditions, is a valuable asset that must be preserved and handed down to future generations. To raise awareness of this value both locally and internationally, the Visit Korean Heritage Campaign has been launched, with a dedicated tourist center set up at Incheon International Airport to encourage greater involvement from international visitors.

한국의 역사와 전통이 담긴 국가유산은 오늘을 넘어 미래까지 이어져야 할 소중한 자산이다. 이러한 가치를 국내외에 알리고 재조명하기 위해 ‘국가유산 방문 캠페인’이 운영되고 있으며 더 많은 외국인 여행객이 참여할 수 있도록 인천국제공항에 전용 홍보관이 조성됐다.

The Visit Korean Heritage Campaign showcases 76 key national heritage sites throughout Korea, grouped into 10 themes. At the visitor center, guests can explore each theme and destination while also getting helpful travel details—including transportation, shopping, and dining—to assist in planning their trips.

국가유산 방문 캠페인은 한국을 대표하는 국가유산 76개의 거점을 10개의 테마로 묶어 소개하는 프로그램이다. 홍보관에서는 각 테마와 거점들을 미리 살펴볼 수 있으며, 교통, 쇼핑, 음식점 등 여행에 유용한 정보도 함께 제공해 여행코스를 계획하는 데 도움을 준다.

근현대 모습을 배경으로 사진을 촬영할 수 있는 크로마키 시간여행자 공간

Inside the hall, visitors can explore National Heritage media art, featuring immersive videos of Joseon’s royal ceremonies, the royal seal, and ritual utensils from Jongmyo Shrine. These exhibits can be enjoyed while seated comfortably, and a nearby VR zone provides hands-on experiences in traditional Korean archery. 

홍보관 내부에는 국가유산 미디어아트가 자리한다. 조선시대 왕실의례, 국새와 종묘 제기 등을 몰입형 영상으로 제작해 보여주는 콘텐츠로 편안하게 소파에 앉아서 감상할 수 있다. 그 옆으로는 한국 전통의 활쏘기를 체험할 수 있는 VR 공간도 마련되어 있다. 

In the Chroma Key Time Traveler Zone, visitors can take photos with backdrops of Korea’s natural landscapes and modern history, while the Drone Experience Zone offers a unique chance to fly through virtual heritage sites using a controller. A special stamp event further enriches the visit by encouraging visitors to explore national heritage sites in person.

‘크로마키 시간여행자 공간’에서는 한국의 자연과 근현대 모습을 배경으로 사진을 촬영이 가능하며, ‘드론 체험존’에서는 직접 조종기를 잡고 가상공간 속 문화유산 사이를 비행하는 색다른 경험을 즐길 수 있다. 특히 ‘스탬프 이벤트’를 통해 국가유산 거점을 직접 방문하는 재미를 더하고 있다.

 - If the passport is not available, collect stamps on the provided sheet at the self-experience zone and attach it to the passport for verification 

 - 방문자 여권을 지참하지 않은 경우 셀프 체험존에 비치된 용지에 도장을 찍은 후 여권에 붙이면 인증 가능

 - For sites included in multiple courses, stamps are required on each corresponding page

 - 코스에 중복 포함되는 거점일 경우, 해당하는 페이지에 모두 도장 찍기
