○ The Mongolia Wrestling team, this year’s fifth candidate of the “OCA-Incheon Vision 2014 Program,” successfully completed their field training in Incheon. The OCA program, an initiative that carries on the spirit and legacy of the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, supports Asian countries with modest athletic capabilities.

○ Incheon Metropolitan City (Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok) announced that the seven-man Mongolia Wrestling team arrived in Incheon on December 6 and promptly embarked on their two-week invitational training program in Incheon. Upon completing the program, the delegation returned home on December 20.

○ Wrestling team at Environmental Corporation of Incheon coach Lim Dae-won joined the Mongolia team as the Korean training partner for the program. Evaluation of each athlete’s proficiency revealed that both the Mongolia team and Korean training partners achieved a marked improvement in their skills thanks to the intensive technical training sessions.

○ In particular, the Mongolian athletes were given professional training regimens and sports consulting sessions aimed at improving performance in competitions at the Incheon Sports Science Center. The Mongolian delegation stated that both services would help the national team set its course in terms of its training program moving forward. Also, the cultural experience program at Incheon Dohobucheongsa (old government building in Incheon), and Songdo International City gave the Mongolian athletes a taste of the past and present of Incheon. The program was a great success among the Mongolian delegation.

○ Mongolian wrestling team Coach Asrulan Tsendsundnum said, “Our athletes were able to improve their performance significantly and we also learned a lot more about Incheon over the course of this training program. Especially, the new city in Songdo was very impressive.“

○ An official with the Incheon Metropolitan City government said, "The Vision 2014 Program has received plenty of acclaim from the international sports community and has also been a bridge connecting Asian countries and Incheon.” The official added, “We will continue to strive for a more balanced development of sports in Asia and promote the brand value of Incheon city.”
