INK Concert Held at Incheon Munhak Stadium
The '15th INK Concert (Incheon K-POP Concert)' is set to heat up Incheon at the beginning of next month.
According to the city of Incheon, the 15th INK Concert, hosted by the city and organized by the Incheon Tourism Organization, will be held on September 7 at the main stadium of Munhak Stadium in Michuhol-gu.
Since 2009, the INK Concert has been a representative K-POP festival in Incheon, attracting over 20,000 spectators every year by providing cultural experiences to both domestic and international tourists.
In particular, the city has announced its goal to make the INK Concert environmentally friendly by introducing reusable containers in the food and beverage (F&B) zone within the event venue, aiming to reduce single-use waste.
Incheon City Campaign to Eradicate Overcharging at Vacation Spots
Incheon City has launched a campaign to eradicate overcharging at popular vacation spots, specifically targeting Simnipo Beach and Janggyeongni Beach in Ongjin County.
This inspection focused on restaurants, rental shops, and other businesses frequently used by vacationers, checking whether prices were clearly displayed and monitoring instances of overcharging. Additionally, a meeting with the Fishing Association Corporation, which manages the beaches, and a price stabilization campaign were conducted.
Earlier, Incheon City also carried out joint inspections at major tourist attractions, including Eulwangri Beach, Wangsan Beach, and Hanagae Beach, to monitor the prices of nearby accommodation facilities.

The schedule for 'Incheon Film Week 2024,' the largest film festival held in Incheon, has been confirmed.
This year’s Incheon Film Week, held under the theme "A Scene from My Youth," will take place from October 18 to 24 across various locations in Incheon.
Hosted by the city of Incheon and organized by the Incheon Film Commission, Incheon Film Week is held annually to revisit Incheon’s significant role in the history of Korean cinema.
An event official stated, "As Incheon Film Week continues to grow every year, we ask for your great interest in Incheon Film Week 2024, which has become a film festival that truly represents Incheon."
Incheon Ongjin County Finalizes Name for New Hospital Ship: 'Geongang Ongjin-ho'
Incheon’s Ongjin County has finalized the name of a new hospital ship, which is currently under construction to provide high-quality medical services to residents in medically underserved island areas. The ship will be called "Geongang Ongjin-ho."
According to Ongjin County, the name "Geongang Ongjin-ho" was chosen to reflect the ship’s purpose clearly. The word "Geongang," meaning "health," is immediately associated with a hospital ship, while "Ongjin-ho" symbolizes a vessel navigating the waters of Ongjin County, which is composed entirely of islands with a challenging medical environment.
An official from Ongjin County stated, "The new hospital ship, set to begin operation next spring, will be a 270-ton vessel with increased capacity and equipped with the latest medical equipment. This will allow us to establish a specialized medical system through partnerships with affiliated hospitals, offering a wide range of medical services that meet the needs of the residents."
