10th Anniversary Songdo Tri-bowl Jazz Festival Kicks Off on August 31
The Incheon Free Economic Zone announced that the Jazz Festival will be held over two days on August 31 and September 1 at Songdo Tri-bowl and the surrounding Central Park area.
Celebrating its 10th year, this festival will commemorate its past achievements and offer an unforgettable experience for jazz enthusiasts and family audiences with a more special program.
Additionally, there will be an 'Art Market' as an outdoor side event, aiming to promote local businesses with the participation of 30 small business owners. The 'Food Market' will offer non-alcoholic cocktails and various menus to beat the late summer heat.
At this jazz festival, the Culture Nuri Card can be used for all side events, and festival participants can check the participating stores through the 'Incheon Culture Nuri' KakaoTalk channel.
Incheon City to Host '2024 Beauty & Healthcare Show' at Songdo Convensia
Incheon City announced that it will host the '2024 Beauty & Healthcare Show' from August 29 to 31 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon.
Co-hosted by the Incheon Tourism Organization, Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA), and World Exhibition Co., Ltd., this exhibition will feature participation from 94 companies related to beauty.
The exhibition will also offer specialized seminars aligned with the domestic and international beauty markets, including a global platform beauty marketing strategy and vegan certification from the Korea Vegan Certification Institute.
An official from Incheon City stated, "This exhibition will be an opportunity not only for Incheon's beauty and health industries but also for domestic companies to expand their market."
Incheon-style 'Segero International School' Opens Next Year
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education will open the 'Segero International School' next year, which it is promoting as a new model for public education.
Segero International School is a public international school that offers integrated education without distinguishing between multicultural and non-multicultural students.
A key feature of this school is the maximum guarantee of autonomy in its curriculum, allowing for the free establishment of elective courses, such as foreign language education tailored to the diverse nationalities of its students, in addition to the mandatory subjects.
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education plans to hold an admission briefing session for Segero International School next month, followed by student selection in October.
Incheon Grand Park Enhances Quality of Life for Cancer Survivors Through Forest Healing
The Incheon Grand Park Office has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Incheon Region Cancer Survivor Integrated Support Center to operate a forest healing collaboration program for cancer survivors.
This agreement was pursued to jointly operate forest healing programs aimed at overcoming the physical, mental, and social challenges that cancer survivors may face and improving their quality of life.
The Healing Forest in Incheon Grand Park is already a popular destination for many citizens due to its excellent accessibility and abundant forest resources. It offers various forest healing programs to provide healthy and joyful forest recreation services.
