10th Anniversary Songdo Tri-bowl Jazz Festival Kicks Off on August 31
The Incheon Free Economic Zone announced that the Jazz Festival will be held over two days on August 31 and September 1 at Songdo Tri-bowl and the surrounding Central Park area.
Celebrating its 10th year, this festival will commemorate its past achievements and offer an unforgettable experience for jazz enthusiasts and family audiences with a more special program.
Additionally, there will be an 'Art Market' as an outdoor side event, aiming to promote local businesses with the participation of 30 small business owners. The 'Food Market' will offer non-alcoholic cocktails and various menus to beat the late summer heat.
At this jazz festival, the Culture Nuri Card can be used for all side events, and festival participants can check the participating stores through the 'Incheon Culture Nuri' KakaoTalk channel.
'Yogi-Jogi Concert' Returns with Autumn Winds, Held Across Incheon
The 'Yogi-Jogi Concert,' organized by Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Foundation for Arts & Culture, will begin its second-half performances on September 2nd at the outdoor plaza of the Incheon Culture & Arts Center.
The Yogi-Jogi Concert is an event designed to bring music closer to citizens and was well-received earlier this year by collaborating with various local artists and performing in several locations across Incheon.
The first performance of the second half will be 'Gandan-Con x Yogi-Jogi Concert,' planned in collaboration with the Incheon Culture & Arts Center. It will open on September 2nd with a performance by the Incheon-based band 'Samjeomilsa.'

Moving Traditional Performances 'Eolssu' to Experience in Everyday Life
Incheon Metropolitan City has announced that it will continue the 'Moving Traditional Performances Eolssu' in the second half of 2024, following the first half, allowing citizens to experience traditional Korean performances in their daily lives.
The performances in the second half will take place four times from September to October, featuring traditional artists, including holders of National Intangible Cultural Heritage, to present richer and deeper traditional performances.
All performances are free of charge and open to all citizens.
'Incheon Master Craftspersons' Selected to Promote the Charm of Crafts
Incheon Metropolitan City and the Incheon Technopark Foundation have announced the recruitment of master craftspersons with the highest level of craftsmanship in the Incheon region.
Since 2013, Incheon has been selecting master craftspersons to elevate the status of craft artists and promote the succession and development of the local craft industry. This year marks the 7th selection of master craftspersons.
Applications are open for six categories: wood and lacquer, metal, ceramics, textiles, paper, and others. Applicants must have worked in the relevant field for over 20 years in Incheon and have been registered as residents in Incheon for more than 10 years as of the start date of the recruitment announcement.
Those selected as master craftspersons will receive a certificate of recognition and a total grant of 9 million KRW. They will also receive preferential points if they participate in craft support projects promoted by Incheon City.
