30% Refund Voucher Provided on Purchases at Incheon Complex Fish Market, From September 9th to 15th
Incheon’s Jung-gu District announced that, in celebration of the Chuseok holiday, they will be holding a “Onnuri Gift Certificate Refund Event” at the Incheon Complex Fish Market from September 9th to 15th.
After purchasing local seafood from over 300 stores within the market, customers can bring their receipts to the gift certificate exchange center and receive a refund of up to 30% of their purchase amount in Onnuri Gift Certificates per person.
The refund amount of is 10,000 won for purchases of 34,000 won or more, and 20,000 won for purchases of 67,000 won or more. The event may end early if the budget is exhausted.
The Beautiful Journey of Baeknyeong and Daecheong Begins for UNESCO Global Geopark Designation
Incheon is taking a step further toward the goal of UNESCO Global Geopark designation for Baeknyeong and Daecheong National Geoparks.
Incheon, after being selected as a domestic candidate for UNESCO Global Geopark in February 2024, submitted a letter of intent in June 2024 and will submit the official application in November 2024.
Incheon plans to continue collaborating with the local community and engage in various activities to secure UNESCO Global Geopark certification for the Baeknyeong and Daecheong Geoparks.
Discounts and Giveaways at Nationwide Longevity Small Business Linked to the Together Festival
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups has announced that, in conjunction with the September Together Festival – one of the largest events promoting the consumption of small business and small enterprise products – they will be holding various online and offline discount events across over 2300 Longevity Small Business stores and 19 local commercial districts nationwide.
Longevity Small Business is distinguished by its long-term operation and significant contributions to the society, demonstrating excellent performance and expected to continue growing based on their accumulated experience. Today, 2313 businesses have received official certification from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
A “Discounts and Giveaways Event” will also be held for customers who visit Longevity Small Business stores in person. After making a purchase, customers can verify their receipts on the event site for a chance to win various prizes, including smartwatches, wireless earbuds, and rechargeable Onnuri gift cards to 50 winners, through a raffle.

Incheon and Seoul Metropolitan Air Quality Management Office to Hold the “Blue Sky Incheon 2024 Air Quality Policy Forum” For a Clearer Sky
Incheon announced that they co-hosted the “Blue Sky Incheon 2024 Air Quality Policy Forum” with Metropolitan Air Quality Management Office at the Inha University’s Aeronautical Convergence Campus.
This forum was held to commemorate the 5th “Blue Sky Day” and was organized to discuss air quality management policy directions with the goal of achieving “blue skies” and “clear air” for Incheon and the surrounding metropolitan area.
A forum official stated, “We believe that today’s forum will greatly contribute to strengthening the metropolitan air quality management master plan and Incheon’s implementation plan.”
