Incheon Wins 2024 Korea Local Guardian Leadership Award

Incheon City introduced its next-generation bus information system, "Baro Bus 2.0," which enhances the accuracy of bus arrival times by incorporating route and station-specific algorithms. This system addresses the limitations of the previous Bus Information Terminals (BIT) and improves operational efficiency. An official stated that the system will provide better public transportation services by improving convenience and stability.

The 45th Incheon Green Climate Academy will take place on September 27 at Incheon YWCA. This educational program aims to strengthen the capacity of public officials, businesses, civic groups, students, and citizens in achieving carbon neutrality amidst the climate crisis.  Incheon Offers Portable AED Rentals for Local Events

Incheon City will provide portable Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) for local events to improve survival rates for cardiac arrest cases. The initiative aims to increase accessibility to AEDs at high-risk, high-traffic areas and large-scale events like regional festivals. An official mentioned that with multiple festivals planned for October, the AED rental program is expected to contribute to safer community events.
