Incheon to Discuss Population Policy at Upcoming Forum
Incheon City will convene the ‘2024 Incheon Population Policy Forum’ on the 8th of next month at the Ttum Culture Creation Zone in Michuhol-gu.
The forum will address ‘Responding to Population Structure Changes and Seeking Sustainable Development Plans for Incheon,’ with experts, officials, and citizens in attendance.

Youth Creativity Shines at ‘Incheon Youth Renaissance’ Contest
Incheon City announced the successful conclusion of the ‘Incheon Youth Renaissance’ contest, held during ‘Incheon Youth Week,’ on September 25th at the Gaetbul Tower International Conference Hall.
The contest, which began in June, attracted 68 proposals from young people nationwide in the areas of housing, jobs, education, and finance/welfare/culture. T
he city plans to incorporate the winning proposals into the 2025 youth policy and continue to reflect youth opinions in future policies.
Incheon and Shenyang Join Forces for Future Growth
Incheon City and Shenyang City in China have decided to collaborate on future advanced industries to create new growth engines.
On the 25th, Incheon Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok met with Shenyang Secretary 왕 신 웨이 at the ‘Shenyang International Friendship City Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference’ to discuss the partnership.
Mayor Yoo remarked, “Incheon will generate new growth engines through cooperation with Shenyang.”
7th Annual Island Village Band Music Festival on Daeijakdo Island
The ‘Island Village Band Music Festival’ returns for its 7th year on the 28th, hosted by Incheon City Ongjin Gun and Gyeongin Broadcasting at the Marine Ecology Museum on Daeijak Island.
This event will feature performances by music clubs from Daeijak island, Sinsimo isalnd, Yeongheung island, and Baengnyeong isalnd, providing a delightful musical experience amidst the island’s scenic backdrop.
Organizers hope the festival will promote Daeijakdo’s natural beauty and serve as a platform for cultural exchange.
