Incheon City Achieves 'Top 3 Nationwide' in Citizen Life Satisfaction
Incheon City, which has been focusing on citizen-oriented policies, continues to rank among the top in the nation for resident life satisfaction.
Incheon Metropolitan City announced that according to the 'September 2024 National Resident Life Satisfaction Survey' conducted by Realmeter, a domestic polling agency, Incheon's resident life satisfaction index was 62.9%, ranking third among metropolitan local governments nationwide.
Following last August's evaluation, where it rose 6 places from the previous month to rank second nationally, Incheon has once again placed in the top tier this month.
An Incheon City official stated, "We will continue to actively identify and focus on citizen-oriented policies."
Incheon City Steps Up to Create a Safe City by Strengthening Earthquake Response Systems
As awareness of disasters has recently increased, Incheon City is launching various safety promotional activities to help citizens learn how to respond in the event of disasters such as earthquakes during Earthquake Safety Week.
Incheon City announced that from the 14th to the 20th, it will actively promote earthquake response guidelines to raise citizens' awareness about earthquakes and strengthen their ability to cope when earthquakes occur.
During Earthquake Safety Week, Incheon City plans to intensively promote situational response guidelines for when earthquakes occur, behavior guidelines for vulnerable groups, general knowledge about earthquakes, and information about outdoor evacuation sites for earthquakes.

Incheon City announced that it has designated 117 businesses as excellent food hygiene operations after conducting on-site evaluations of food handling businesses in traditional markets. The evaluations covered hygienic handling practices, compliance with facility standards, business operator compliance, and friendly service.
The businesses selected as excellent food hygiene operations will receive various benefits.
Incheon City will provide these businesses with hygiene supplies, distribute guidebooks for business promotion, and offer promotional support such as including them in travel agency tour courses to attract domestic and international tourists.
