Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Recruiting 15 Companies for the CES 2025 


Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority is recruiting Incheon-based startups that wish to attend the Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2025), which will be held in Las Vegas, USA, in January next year. 

CES, which will be held from January 7th to 10th, 2025, is the world’s largest IT exhibition organized by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), and it is a prestigious event where you can get a comprehensive view of the latest technologies and market trends. 

Around 15 companies will be recruited, particularly global innovative technology companies that have their headquarters, factories, research centers, or branches in Incheon. 

Applications are processed online through the Incheon Startup Park website, and the deadline is October 23rd. 




Incheon Bandabi Sports Center for People with and without Disabilities to Open on the 17th 


Incheon announced that the “Incheon Bandabi Sports Center,” a facility for both people with and without disabilities, will open on October 17th. 

The opening of the Bandabi Sports Center is expected to contribute to guaranteeing the basic sports rights of people with disabilities, as it offers convenient access within their local living area. 

Bandabi Sports Center is a community-friendly sports welfare facility where both people with and without disabilities can enjoy activities together. It plans to offer user-centered programs that are categorized and tailored to different needs. 




Incheon Enhances Incheon Line 1 Station Environment for Citizen Convenience and Accessibility 


Incheon announced that it is promoting the “Station Accessibility Improvement Project” to create a safe and convenient urban railway station environment for all citizens. 

This project will be carried out at Dongmak Station, Imhak Station, and Incheon City Hall Station on Incheon Line 1 to ensure the mobility rights of vulnerable groups and enhance transport welfare that citizens can experience. 

An Incheon City official stated that they will do their best to ensure that all citizens, including those with transportation vulnerabilities, can safely and conveniently use the urban railway through this improvement project. 





Introducing Korea’s First K-Nupguk: A Play Performed While Lying Down!


The family play <Wait at Whale Rock>, which embodies the metaphor of waiting, will be staged at Haksan Theater from October 31st to November 2nd. 

This work is presented as part of the Incheon Culture and Arts Center’s “Children’s Masterpiece Stage”, showcasing well-made performances tailored to children’s perspectives. 

The actors of <Wait at Whale Rock> perform various theatrical actions while lying on the floor. 

The family play <Wait at Whale Rock> will be performed until November 2nd, 2024, and the ticket price is 20,000 won.
