Incheon City Creates Artificial Reef Area the Size of 56 Football Fields

Incheon Metropolitan City will invest 1.64 billion KRW to install 474 artificial reefs in the coastal waters of Daecheong, Socheong, Deokjeok, and Jawol in Ongjin-gun, covering an area of 40 hectares (the size of 56 football fields), to promote abundant marine resources.

Known as "fish apartments," these artificial reefs are structures made from concrete or steel designed to facilitate the spawning and habitation of marine life.
