Incheon Education Office Hosts 2nd National Music Choir Festival
The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education successfully held the 2nd National Music Choir Festival at the Incheon Student Education and Cultural Center on the 18th. Following its debut in 2023, this year’s festival featured six schools with national music choir programs and three invited choirs. The performances included essential national music choir pieces developed by the Incheon Education Office, along with free-choice pieces showcasing each choir’s unique charm.
Incheon TP and City Launch Blockchain Photography Contest
Incheon Technopark and Incheon City have announced a Blockchain Photography Contest under the theme “My Own Incheon Remembered in NFT.” The contest runs until November 10 and aims to highlight the upcoming Incheon Blockchain Innovation Support Center. Participants can submit two digital photos taken after January 1, 2022, with winning pieces to be displayed at the center and later converted into NFTs.
Namdong-gu Enhances Nighttime Safety with ‘Safe Routes’
Namdong-gu in Incheon has created a Safe Route for nighttime pedestrians in the Saejinmae Village of Nonhyeon 2-dong to address blind spots in public safety. The project includes installing LED murals on the walls of Nongok Middle School and placing road markers in dark alleys of densely populated areas. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to improve safe passageways for vulnerable groups.
Incheon Hosts MICE Travel Mart from October 22
Incheon City and the Incheon Tourism Organization will host the 2024 Incheon Songdo International Meetings Complex MICE Travel Mart (ISITM) from October 22-25. The four-day event will feature business-to-business meetings between international buyers and domestic sellers, facility tours in Songdo, and a series of networking and promotional events aimed at fostering new business opportunities in the MICE industry.
