Investment Presentation on Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) for China's National Development and Reform Commission and Business Representatives
On the 18th, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) held an investment attraction presentation for 30 representatives from China's National Development and Reform Commission's International Cooperation Center and businesses who visited Korea to attend the "2nd Korea-China Economic Cooperation Exchange Meeting".
Following the "1st Korea-China Economic Cooperation Exchange Meeting" held in Changchun, China last year, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of South Korea and China's National Development and Reform Commission hosted the "2nd Korea-China Economic Cooperation Exchange Meeting" in Seoul this year.
IFEZ viewed this as an excellent opportunity to promote investment attraction to Chinese companies. Through IFEZ promotional video screenings, investment attraction presentations, and interviews, they promoted the investment conditions and performance of the Incheon Free Economic Zone. They also had time to communicate mutually about economic cooperation and investment attraction policies between China and the IFEZ.
Incheon City Strengthens Child Abuse Prevention through Positive Parenting Coaching with Children
On October 19, Incheon Metropolitan City conducted 'Positive Parenting Coaching with Children' for elementary school students and their parents at the Incheon Child Love Education Center.
This education is a new program created by Incheon City to build a safe city for children. It provided 35 people from 15 families with an opportunity to understand the thoughts and feelings between parents and children, and to explore proper parenting methods.
To enhance the expertise of child abuse prevention education in 2024, Incheon City has transferred the operation of the education to the Incheon Metropolitan City Child Protection Agency. The Incheon Child Love Education Center, a permanent education venue for child abuse prevention, is conducting education for mandatory reporters of child abuse and the general public.
Incheon Art Platform Holds Exhibition "The Act of Collaboration" to Celebrate 15th Anniversary
The Incheon Art Platform, operated by the Incheon Cultural Foundation, will open a special exhibition titled "The Act of Collaboration" on October 25, 2024, to celebrate its 15th anniversary.
This exhibition looks back on the achievements and role of the Incheon Art Platform as a creative space over the past 15 years, highlighting its role in providing a stable creative environment for artists from various fields through the keyword 'collaboration'.
The exhibition will run until February 2, 2025, and is open for viewing from Tuesday to Sunday, 11 AM to 6 PM.
Incheon City: "Let's Protect the Earth Through Carbon-Neutral Lifestyle Practices"
Incheon City announced that it conducted on-site experiential activities for the 'Carbon-Neutral Climate Citizen Community' at Yeongjongjin Park and Songsan Retention Basin in Yeongjong Island, in collaboration with the Incheon Council for Sustainable Development and Incheon Environmental Education Center.
The 'Carbon-Neutral Climate Citizen Community' consists of 21 communities encompassing apartment complexes, religious facilities, and various sectors of society, recruited as part of an initiative to expand citizen participation in realizing Incheon's 2045 carbon neutrality goal.
An Incheon City official stated, "We will continue to promote citizen participation activities to establish a foundation for spreading carbon-neutral practices in everyday life and strive to make all 3 million Incheon citizens become climate citizens."
