‘Dokdo Lounge’ has successfully open at Central Park Station to Promote the Value of Dokdo

Incheon Metropolitan City has unveiled ‘Dokdo Lounge’ in the customer relaxation area of Central Park Station. To celebrate its wide open , the opening ceremony was held on October 25, coinciding with Dokdo Day.


The establishment of the Dokdo Lounge aims to remind citizens and students of the historical significance of Dokdo Island, while also reinforcing the value of our territory.


The lounge, which is located within Central Park Station, will serve as an educational and relaxation space for Incheon’s overseas Koreans, foreign tourists, and the general public, and will showcase the beauty and importance of Dokdo.







Incheon holds Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with citizen for the first city in nation on Nov. 1.

Incheon metropolitan city will hold ‘Christmas tree lighting ceremony and cultural event on November 1 at the City Hall Square, which is two weeks earlier than in previous years.


Sponsored by the city and organized by the Incheon Christian Council, this year's event will create a “Christmas Forest” featuring over 70 Christmas trees instead of a single large tree, aiming to foster a warm and festive atmosphere for the community.


An official from the city stated that 

he hopes this event will remind everyone of the spirit of love and sharing, and provide an opportunity for all citizens to feel peace and unity in a culturally vibrant Incheon..





A Celebration of art in Everyday Life: 2024 Incheon Living Culture Festival held with great success

 On October 26th,  The ‘2024 Incheon Living Culture Festival,’ took place with great success at the Incheon Art Platform. It was hosted by Incheon City and organized by The One Art Korea 

Since 2017, this festival has been a community-driven event where local culture clubs actively participate   from the very first stage of planning the festival in order to create an engaging experience for everyone.


The theme of this year is “ON: Connecting Together”.  It reflects the ideas of inclusivity and communication, emphasizing how Incheon residents can connect and grow together through various cultures in their daily lives.

As a part of the celebrations for the Citizens’ Day, the festival featured 70 performances of local communities, over 20 exhibitions and various activity programs. It offered a vibrant mix of entertainment and experiences for the community.





IFEZ Video and Photo Contest’s Deadline Set for November 25th. 

The Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority will host the 'IFEZ Video and Photo Contest' from October 28 to November 25.This contest invites participants to showcase the beautiful landscapes and attractions of Songdo, Yeongjong, and Cheongna, along with their personal dreams and stories, as well as tourism promotions aimed at foreigners.The competition is divided into three categories: two types of videos (long-form and short-form) and photography. Each participant can submit up to three entries, and they are encouraged to include a personal story with their work.Submissions will be accepted until November 25, and participants can apply through the contest's dedicated website. Following two rounds of judging, the winners will be announced on December 11.
