Incheon Industrial Women’s Center to host “Bio, Food & Beauty Career Dream Fair” on November 1st 

The Incheon Women’s Plaza at Industrial New Employment Center announced that it will hold the “2024 Bio, Food & Beauty Career Dream Fair” on November 1st at 1PM at the Women’s Plaza Square. 

This event will feature on-site recruitment by around 20 companies in the bio, food, and beauty industries, connected to vocational training programs offered by the Incheon Industrial Women’s New Employment Center, including the “K-Beauty Smart Manufacturing Workforce Training Program,” the “HACCP Specialist Training Program,” and the “Bio Process Specialist Program.” Additional activities, such as resume photo shoots and a “Women’s Entrepreneurship Seminar”, will also be available. 

The Incheon Industrial Women’s New Employment Center anticipates that the effectiveness of vocational training will significantly increase by designing training programs tailored to industry job demands and linking graduates to on-site recruitment opportunities. 




Dive into the World of Scat: Carina Nebula’s “Divas of Scat” 

The November performance of the Incheon Culture & Arts Center’s signature series, the “2024 Coffee Concert”, will feature the jazz vocal ensemble “Carina Nebula,” who will meet with audiences on November 13th at the Dong-gu Culture and Sports Center. 

Carina Nebula is Korea’s first female jazz vocal quartet, formed by uniting “Queen of Scat” Malo with Raon Park, Yunmi Kang, and Minhee Kim as a one-team ensemble. 

The Incheon Culture & Arts Center’s signature “Coffee Concert” is monthly matinee concert held on Wednesdays at 2PM. Due to renovation work at the Incheon Culture & Arts Center’s performance hall, the concert series has been relocated to the original downtown area of Dong-gu since July of last year. 





Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture Partners with National Institute of Biological Resources and Incheon Early Childhood Education Center for Arts Education in Island Communities

Incheon and the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, in collaboration with local institutions such as the National Institute of Biological Resources and the Incheon Early Childhood Education Center, operated a cultural arts education program for young children in island communities from August to October. 

This program was conducted as part of the “National Institute of Biological Resources&Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture Collaborative Cultural Arts Education Project – Biodiversity Meet Culture and Arts,” which has been ongoing since 2023. It included cultural arts education programs related to biodiversity, developed by artists, and was implemented in Ganghwa and Yeonpyeong Islands. 




Incheon City Social Services Center Announces Recruitment for Youth Future Center Program Participants 

The Incheon Youth Future Center, affiliated with the Incheon City Social Services Center, announced that it is recruiting participants for the Family Care Youth Program. 

The “Healing Program” is limited to 10 participants, and the recruitment period is until November 3rd. 

Recruitment for self-help groups and mentoring is ongoing, and support is provided to help young people establish connections and create supportive relationships with each other.
