Incheon City to Improve 15 City Bus Routes for Enhanced Public Transportation Services


Incheon Metropolitan City announced that it will adjust 15 bus routes to provide more convenient services that reflect the new demands for public transportation and changing traffic conditions. 

The adjustments, approved in the city’s third city bus route review of 2024, will be implemented gradually starting November 9. 

These route changes were finalized after a review by the Bus Policy Committee, which includes representatives from civic groups, city council members, and transportation experts, held over October 30 and 31. 

An Incheon official stated, “Adjusting the routes is necessary to meet the changing transportation environment and public transit needs. We plan to carry out sufficient prior publicity to minimize any inconvenience to citizens.”






Incheon City to Implement Special Public Transport Measures on College Entrance Exam Day


Incheon City will implement special public transportation measures on November 14 to help students safely and smoothly reach their exam locations for the 2025 College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). 

Approximately 28,000 students from the Incheon area are expected to take the test, increasing traffic as students, parents, and supervisors head to exam sites.

Incheon Metro will prepare three backup trains to handle emergency situations, and informational posters will be placed at 18 stations near exam sites. 

Additionally, 36 support staff will be deployed to provide guidance to students and respond to any unexpected issues.






Incheon Hosts Successful 2024 Green EnerTech Exhibition


The “2024 Green EnerTech” event, held from October 30 to November 1 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon, successfully concluded with a total of 3,510 visitors. 

Now in its third year, the event featured 88 companies across six main areas: carbon neutrality, renewable energy, water resources, climate change and air quality, circular economy, and eco-friendly plastics. Thirty-five overseas buyers from 20 countries were invited. 

An official from Incheon City commented, “This exhibition has not only strengthened global business networks but has also made meaningful contributions to boosting the local economy.”






Korea’s Only MICE Industry Exhibition to be Held Over Three Days in Incheon’s Songdo


Incheon City and the Incheon Tourism Organization announced that the “Korea MICE Expo (KME) 2024” will be held from November 6 (Wednesday) to 8 (Friday) at Songdo Convensia. 

The Korea MICE Expo, the largest MICE industry exhibition in Korea, has been held since 2000 and has been successfully hosted in Incheon for nine consecutive years since 2016.

A total of 260 companies will participate, operating 350 booths, with over 30 members of the Incheon MICE Alliance participating in business consultations and marketing activities. Approximately 3,000 industry professionals, including 230 domestic and international buyers, are expected to attend.
