Incheon City to Introduce Bus Median Lanes and Expand Bus Rapid Transit Routes


The City of Incheon held a kick-off meeting for the 'Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Basic Planning and Feasibility Study' project.

The meeting was organized to share the project's basic direction and gather opinions from relevant agencies to ensure thorough project execution. Representatives from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Incheon City officials, and other related organization members attended the meeting.

An Incheon City official stated, "Through the introduction of median bus lanes, we expect to improve bus punctuality and ensure citizens' convenience by enhancing connectivity with existing curbside bus lanes."






Incheon City Hosts Dumpling-Making Experience for Foreigners at Port Opening Area


The City of Incheon is strengthening its position as a global city by operating food experience programs at the Port Opening Area to help foreigners understand Incheon's culture and provide various cultural experience opportunities.

On the 16th, Incheon City successfully hosted a 'Port Opening Area Food (Dumpling) Making Experience Program' for foreign residents at the Incheon Art Platform, receiving an enthusiastic response.

This event was organized as part of the '1883 Port Opening Salon Citizen Participation Program' to introduce the history and culture of the port opening area through food experiences. Foreign participants had the opportunity to experience the charm of K-food, which is driving the popularity of the Korean Wave, and to appreciate the diverse cultural heritage of the port opening area.





Incheon City and Incheon Tourism Organization Promote Incheon as Optimal Tourism and MICE Destination in Vietnam


Incheon City and Incheon Tourism Organization successfully concluded an 'Incheon Exclusive Roadshow' in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from the 12th to 14th, promoting Incheon as an optimal city for tourism and MICE.

The event aimed to enhance Incheon's recognition in the tourism and MICE sectors among local travel agencies and businesses. During the business consultation meetings held throughout the event, a total of 280 consultations took place, with 30% leading to positive discussions about bringing tourists to Incheon and hosting MICE events in the city.

An official from the Incheon Tourism Organization stated, "Vietnam represents one of the largest markets for Korean tourism and MICE group visits," adding, "Through continuous promotional efforts, we will work to attract more Vietnamese tourists to visit Incheon."







Incheon City Hosts Seminar for University Students and Citizens to "Support Youth Entrepreneurship"


The City of Incheon held a 'University Outreach Seminar' for approximately 150 university students and citizens who dream of starting their own businesses.

This seminar was organized by the Incheon Startup Forum, consisting of private and public sector entrepreneurship experts. The event was designed to directly hear and communicate with students in the field of youth entrepreneurship by collaborating with local universities.

An Incheon City official stated, "We hope this seminar will provide practical guidance to young people who are hesitant about starting their own businesses and serve as an opportunity to further vitalize the local entrepreneurship culture," adding, "We plan to continue providing various startup-related lectures in cooperation with local universities."
