Incheon City Wins Award for Sustainable Food Policy for Two Consecutive Years


On December 3, Incheon Metropolitan City was recognized as an outstanding municipal government at the "2024 Regional Food Index Results Announcement and Awards Ceremony," held at the Government Complex Sejong Convention Center in Sejong City.

This marks the second consecutive year that Incheon has received high recognition in the urban food index category, following its achievement in 2022. The award is seen as a result of the city's successful implementation of sustainable food policies.

An official from Incheon City stated, "We will continue to do our best to strengthen the local food foundation and establish a food circulation system."





A New Start for Incheon Counseling Center


On December 3rd, Incheon Metropolitan City selected Ain Hospital, operated by the Ain Medical Foundation, as the new private service provider for the Incheon Region’s Infertility and Depression Counseling Center.

Starting in 2025, the center, which was previously operated by Gil Medical Center, will now be managed by Ain Hospital for three years, until 2027. The new center will be located on the fifth floor of Ain Hospital in Michuhol-gu (372 Gyeongin-ro).

The Incheon Infertility and Depression Counseling Center will provide psychological counseling and emotional support to individuals such as couples experiencing infertility, pregnant women, and mothers raising children. It will also play a role in identifying and supporting individuals at high risk for mental health issues.





Incheon City Children’s Choir Holds 2024 Year-End Concert


The Incheon City Youth Choir will conclude its inaugural year in 2024 by holding a year-end concert titled <Chocolate Cake>.

On December 19th, they will celebrate the joyful Christmas season with a musical at Art Center Incheon.

This performance will feature classical Christmas choir songs, a tap dance performance, and a musical drama starring children, delivering a message of emotion and hope to the audience.





Asia Cities Culture Forum Fosters Cultural Exchange and Collaboration


The Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture will hold the <Asia Cities Culture Forum> tomorrow (6th), aiming to explore sustainable international cooperation networks through cultural exchange and collaboration between Incheon and Taiwanese cities. 

In addition to the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture, the forum will also be joined by the Incheon Development Institute and several universities from both Incheon and Taiwan, providing a platform to open new possibilities for cultural cooperation.

At the <Asia Cities Culture Forum>, various collaboration strategies will be discussed based on the cultural connections between Incheon and Taiwan. Experts from various fields will gather to share the vision and potential of cities, exploring in-depth cooperation opportunities.
