The "IFEZ Happy Study Room Season 6," which brought hope and courage to the old city center, has concluded with its final report meeting.
The Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) Authority held the "IFEZ Happy Study Room Season 6 Project Results Presentation" at Gyeongwonjae in Songdo International City on the 18th. Supported by resident companies, the project focuses on providing study rooms for children and teenagers in the old city center.
The study room project aims to create an environment where children can nurture their dreams while also promoting the revitalization of the local economy. The ChildFund Korea Incheon Headquarters was responsible for overseeing and managing the entire project.

The Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) Authority held a public briefing on the progress of the 3rd Landing Bridge construction project at the Sky Culture Center in Yeongjong International City on the 18th.
During the briefing, the progress of the construction work was explained, alternatives to the scaled-back tourism development plan were discussed, and citizens' opinions were gathered.
Having overcome numerous challenges, the project is now on track, and the IFEZ Authority is prioritizing communication with the public. Plans include holding discussions with residents and forming a public-private joint committee to find solutions for the project.
Incheon Namdong-gu Expands Infertility Treatment Support for Couples
Namdong-gu in Incheon is expanding its infertility treatment support program for couples.
According to Namdong-gu, the infertility treatment support has been expanded from 25 cycles over a lifetime to 25 cycles per birth. Additionally, the treatment cost burden for women aged 45 and older has been aligned with that of women under 45, eliminating the age-based differences in support.
To be eligible for the infertility treatment support program, both spouses must be enrolled in health insurance, and one spouse must be Korean and submit an "infertility diagnosis certificate."
Couples can apply for the infertility treatment support at the Health Promotion Department on the 4th floor of the Namdong-gu Health Center or through the GOV.KR portal.
Incheon City Launches Blockchain-Based Resource Circulation Service in the First Half of Next Year
Incheon City is working to stabilize the system for the official launch of the "EcoHub Platform," a blockchain-based resource circulation service, in the first half of next year.
Recently, Incheon City completed the construction of the EcoHub Platform, aimed at creating a citizen-centered resource circulation environment, and held a completion report meeting.
The "EcoHub Platform (app)" incorporates blockchain-based Decentralized Identity (DID) technology to securely protect personal information during registration, recording only the minimum necessary information for verification on the blockchain.
The city is pursuing innovative environmental policies using digital technology and has a strategy to accelerate the development of blockchain-based, citizen-oriented services.
